Book Your Holiday

To book a holiday through Mounties, all you have to do is download and complete an application form for your chosen location and return it to Mounties. We’ll then contact you to let you know if your application has been successful. If you are applying for accommodation during the ballot period, you will be notified by letter after the ballot has taken place.

Once confirmation has been provided, you have two weeks to pay the $100 deposit to secure your booking. Once the deposit has been paid, retain the receipt and take it with you to the resort when you begin your holiday.

Ballots

To ensure all members have an equal opportunity for access to the Holiday Resorts,
Ballots are conducted for the Federation Units for all school holiday periods.
This weekly period extends from Saturday 3.00pm to Saturday 10.00am.
Please note: There are currently no ballots done for the Kooloora lodge, Mounties@Sussex or Twin Towns. These are on a first-in best dressed basis (a 50% deposit is required upon booking for school holiday periods).

Due to the popularity of our ballots, a number of conditions apply:

• One application will be allowed per week, per member, per resort
• Participants must be current and financial members of Mounties
• Junior and team members are not permitted to book accommodation
• Members may lodge applications for more than one week, however ballots are conducted on a week to week basis
• No late applications will be accepted into the ballots
• No deposits are taken prior to the ballot draw
• All successful ballot applications are non transferable
• Successful applicants will be notified by mail once the ballot has been completed
• Successful applicants have two weeks only to pay the $100 deposit to secure their bookings
• A re-draw will take place of all original ballot applicants for any vacancies after the two week deposit cut off date
• Applications are accepted for the ballot periods up until close of trade on the advertised dates
• Application are photocopied and sorted in resort and date order
• After the close of applications, each member is allocated a generic number to be used in the ballot
• The ballot is conducted at 2pm at Mounties on the second Monday following ballot closure
• The ballot is carried out using a number generating machine
